The Water Corporation contracted Maramara to extend the access tracks into Butty Borefield, located 20km from Esperance. Along with embarking on the clearing, earthworks and road construction, we were ultimately responsible for site safety and environmental activities. As the Borefield is the only source of the township’s drinking water, stringent environmental governance was in place. We worked closely with the Water Corporation to maintain the controls while completing works on time and within budget.
